Hello my dears!!

I am sending you luminous greetings during this dark season. This time invites us to focus on gratitude, our hearts, and reflection/review. In earlier times, people spent a lot of time at home in late autumn/winter, resting and telling stories by the fireside.

Make this possible now and slow down your life, take time, pause. Your body may also not be as dynamic as in other seasons. That is a good thing, do not fight it, but use it wisely. It is very fashionable to use the Rauhnächte (twelve nights between Christmas and Epiphany) for introspection and reflection, but you don’t need to wait until Christmas, you can start right here and now!

Review & Reflection:

* What went well this year? Where are you satisfied “with the harvest of your fruits”?
* What can be even better? Where can you be even more loving, peaceful, wise, warm-hearted, forgiving, and open, etc.?
* What are your priorities and most important values in life?
* What is most important for your personal development right now?
* What can you concretely learn from defeats, setbacks, or mistakes?

Take time for these questions and let them resonate deeply within you. This gives space and time for the answers to rise from the depths of your being, where all answers already exist. It is ABSOLUTELY vital that you are loving with yourself when reflecting on mistakes and defeats! Many people do not want to deal with mistakes or painful experiences, but just want to forget them as quickly as possible. That is a very unwise waste of crucial opportunities! We can learn and evolve the most where things haven’t gone so well yet. So use it wisely! Look at things from your heart. What does your heart say about it? Meditate on it and give your heart space to reveal itself.

Let gratitude guide you now:

Of course, gratitude should be our daily, best companion! To do this, you can write a 10-point gratitude list every day or do a 5-minute gratitude meditation. Creation and your life are a wonderful gift, be grateful from the bottom of your heart and practice this appreciation to the fullest. Sometimes we drift away a bit from gratitude because problems push to the foreground or simply due to everyday stress. Then this season is truly best suited to reconnect us with deep appreciation in our hearts. If you are facing special challenges with a topic, take this topic and write a 10-point gratitude list about it every day. You will see how quickly problems can transform into blessings! Always include your heart in your appreciation and gratitude, and feel the gratitude there!

I would also like to remind you how helpful a daylight lamp is during the dark season! I have been using mine every single morning since the beginning of November. I have a small one (about the size of an iPad) by the brand Beurer (available on Amazon for approx. 40€) that fits on any table! Our body simply has its needs too! ;-)

In this context, I would also like to mention Vitamin D3&K2 once again. About 80% of Germans have a Vitamin D deficiency (a good blood level is 60 to 80 ng/ml). Such a deficiency not only drags down the mood, but has diverse effects on the body, especially on the immune system. Right now, mainstream media is running another campaign against taking Vitamin D, but my own experience, discussions with others, and intensive research have convinced me otherwise. I take 5,000-8,000 IU daily from October to April, along with 200 µg of K2 (caution if taking blood thinners). (Disclaimer: Important: everything described here is based on my personal experience and CANNOT replace a medical diagnosis or therapy! Please turn to a doctor or alternative practitioner you trust with all your questions and inform yourself on the internet and through specialist literature. Always take personal responsibility for your health! Following my tips is done at your own risk.)

I wish for all of us that we are deeply grateful for life from the bottom of our hearts and learn from everything & evolve in love.
Light and love, healing and peace, to all people, all beings, all existence!!
May all beings be enlightened!!
With love, Awen Lucia
